We are PB-K and PB-E: one of us is a college student applying to medical school and one of us is a dissertating college instructor. 

We live in the LA area and are old friends.  We started this blog because we thought our conversations, especially those about education and politics, might be useful and/or interesting to others.

Here at APBS, we write openly about our daily trials and tribulations in and out of the classroom, our life triumphs (few as they may be), and the stuff that makes us guffaw and spit our coffee across the table. Enjoy!

back to work

The term started fresh today.  A whole new class to enthuse, infuse, bemuse.  No real stories yet, but I'm going to tentatively label this a friendly, interested class.  I'm still nervous about the subject matter, but as long as I stay one day ahead...
